Ninja Segging & Subbing Academy

NSSA is a community project dedicated to teaching volunteers to segment and subtitle on Viki. In addition, we strive to help users learn about the numerous other volunteer opportunities available throughout the site. We welcome new and veteran contributors to stop by our channel to exchange knowledge and skills. There are two divisions of Ninja Academy: Segging Academy and Subbing Academy.

NSSA is a program designed exclusively for Rakuten Viki and is divided into two divisions: Segmenting (also called Segging) and Subtitling (also called Subbing).

NSSA Achievements

With more than 8.800 applicants and ~60 volunteer staff by its 10th anniversary in 2024, NSSA had proudly seen more than 830 academy graduates between its segmenting and subtitling programs and over 1.400 sandbox graduates. Please note that these numbers are approximate statistics.
